The State Carnival is open to all registered little athletes in the Tiny Tots to Under 12 age groups, with the event split into a morning session and afternoon session.

The Tiny Tots – U8’s participate in the morning and are involved in the following:
Tiny Tots – A fun one hour fundamental skills session, learning running, jumping, and throwing, with the opportunity to have a run on the track to experience what the “big kids” do!
U6-U8 – A fun one hour run/jump/throw skill development coaching clinic. The learning of correct techniques are vital to ensure participants can perform events successfully throughout the season. This clinic will be followed by a short informal competition, which is optional to do.
The U9 – U12’s participate in the afternoon and are involved in an informal competition, where they can select up to 5 events to be involved in. The State Carnival is a great opportunity for U9 – U12’s to familiarise themselves with the SA Athletics Stadium, make new friends, learn about competition rules, and get valuable coaching tips from experienced coaches throughout the day!

Entry Fee: $10.00 per athlete

To participate in this event, athletes must be a registered financial member with a South Australian Little Athletics centre before Thursday 2nd November 2017.
